I took the northernmost branch of the river upstream of Tonbridge town bridge as there was just insufficient headroom on the wider branch, and only just sufficient headroom on the northern branch. It was very narrow with overhanging branches but depth was good. I winded where the main channel was rejoined just below the rail bridge.
