Bridge 38 just carries a footpath over. The railway line is very close to the canal here and you can see the footbridge that carries the footpath over the railway lines.

Bridge No 38 [Grand Junction] is a minor waterways place on the Grand Union Canal (Grand Junction Canal - Main Line - Norton to Gayton) between Heyford Wharf Bridge No 32 (Nether Heyford village half a mile northeast. Many moored boats in this area) (1 mile and 6¾ furlongs to the northwest) and Gayton Junction (Junction with Grand Union Northampton Branch) (3 miles and ¼ furlongs to the east).
