Yonne - Bourgogne Jonction

Here is a large canal junction with plenty of good moorings in the basin, but also the rail hub of the region is adjacent making sleeping difficult. Most services a good supermarket two minute walk from the slipway that also has fuel, and a further five minute walk into town gives you a very good butcher and baker (What the French do best). Little in the way of Restaurants, the cafe behind the slipway is good for lunch and but only opens Friday & Saturday evenings also try the Chinese. The Crown Blue hire base operate the slipway on behalf of the town and the fee is low worth calling ahead. Jo Parfitt (A legend on the French cut) at Chantier de Migennes stores our cars and trailers and offers all boat yard services including a huge crane.http://www.fluvial-migennes.com/
