Grand Union Canal (Regent's Canal)
The Grand Union Canal (Regent's Canal) is a broad canal and is part of the Grand Union Canal. It runs for 8 miles and 4¾ furlongs through 13 locks from Limehouse Basin Entrance (where it joins the River Thames (tidal section)) to Little Venice (where it joins the Grand Union Canal (Paddington Branch)).
The maximum dimensions for a boat to be able to travel on the waterway are 72 feet long and 14 feet wide. The maximum headroom is not known. The maximum draught is not known.
It has junctions with the Lee and Stort Navigation (Limehouse Cut) at Limehouse Basin and with the Grand Union Canal (Hertford Union Canal) at Hertford Union Junction.
