Summary0000579: Swing bridges
DescriptionYour output no longer seems to show swing or lift bridges, or at least not on the section I have just looked at (Kennet & Avon between Bath and Bradford-on-Avon).

How can I get these displayed? As a single-handed boater, swing bridges make a big difference to cruising times.

Which section are you looking at. I found two, [Hungerford Church Bridge No 85] and [Hungerford Marsh Lock No 73].

Nick/Steve, I planned a journey between [Dunn Mill Lock Bridge] and [Dun Aqueduct]. The route summary doesn't show any canal graphic symbols except the camera. The Itinerary shows the symbols. This may be what Clare is talking about.

OK - I've had a quick look and it's not that the graphics are there but not showing - it actually looks like they are missing from the page totally.

I've assigned this to Nick but he's not going to get much of a chance to look at it for a few days.

I can't spot the bug! I get swing bridges counted ("; two moveable bridges; ;" - I'll have to do something about that stray semicolon sometime), and they are in the itinerary - see picture.

The Itinerary shows the canal graphic symbols, but under Summary then Route it doesn't show any canal graphic symbols beside the camera symbol.

It never has. The linear maps don't appear on the route only the itinerary. There's nothing specific and swing-bridgy about that. I'm not convinced that's what the bug report is asking for (but I'm not sure what it is!)

My problem is that when I planned a journey (Saltford to Bradford-on-Avon), the resulting itinerary notes all the locks but doesn’t even mention swing bridges. I can’t find an option to include them.

I've planned that journey and there are two swing bridges shown [Holcombe Swing Bridge No 182] and [Claverton Swing Bridge No 178]. There is currently no way of excluding any canal structures from the itinerary.

I'm still struggling to understand the problem - have a look at the screenshot I've attached to this. How does your itinerary differ from this? Can you provide a screenshot showing the output and where you'd expect the swing bridges to be?
