Foxton Top Staircase is a major waterways place on the Grand Union Canal (Leicester Section - Old Grand Union) between Foxton Bottom Staircase (Lock No 13 to Lock No 17. Footbridge after each set of double gates and Bridge 61, carrying a minor access road, over Lock No 17) (¾ furlongs to the north) and Inclined Plane Upper Access Arm Junction (Foxton Top Lock Winding Hole) (1 furlong to the south).
