There is a sunken craft between Gunthorpe Lock and Stoke Lock, near the Ferry Boat Inn. 

Boaters can travel past, but are asked to proceed with care. 

We will aim to have it removed as quickly as possible.

Over the weekend a cruiser caught fire causing the boat to sink just before the weir at Stoke Lock. The sunken boat is not currently an obstruction in the navigation for other boaters, but please be aware that it is there and proceed with caution.
