The Badger Inn

Cross Lane, Cheshire East, England, United Kingdom
The Badger Inn is a minor waterways place on the Shropshire Union Canal (Middlewich Branch) between Cholmondeston Lock Bridge No 5 (Pronounced Churmston) (3 miles and 4 furlongs and 1 lock to the southwest) and Wardle Lock No 4 (Junction of Trent and Mersey Canal, Wardle Lock Branch and Shropshire Union Canal, Middlewich Branch) (5 miles and ¾ furlongs and 1 lock to the northeast).
The nearest place in the direction of Cholmondeston Lock Bridge No 5 is Church Minshull Visitor Moorings (48 hour moorings); ½ furlongs away.
The nearest place in the direction of Wardle Lock No 4 is Minshullhill Bridge No 14 (Church Minshull a quarter of a mile west.); a few yards away.

Mooring here is good (a nice place to moor) .

Newly and tastefully refurbished, the pub offers excellent food, beers and accommodation. NOTE:The nearest access is bridge 14 but the road is very busy, narrow, with no footpath. The safest access is via bridge 11. It is longer but much safer especially if you have kids or dogs.

The pub is not canalside but on Cross Lane, next to the church in the middle of Church Minshull village. There is footpath only access, footpath and road access or the shortest which is all by road access.
