Daventry Canal

The Daventry Canal is a narrow canal and is part of the Waterways of Mainland Britain. It runs for 2 miles through 1 lock from Daventry Canal Basin (which is a dead end) to Welton Junction (proposed) (where it joins the Grand Union Canal (Grand Junction Canal - Main Line - Braunston to Norton)).

The maximum length for a boat to be able to travel on the waterway is 72 feet long. The maximum headroom is not known. The maximum draught is not known.

This waterway is excluded by default from route planning with the following explanation: "proposed extension to navigation"
