Derby and Sandiacre Canal

The Derby and Sandiacre Canal is a broad canal and is part of the Waterways of Mainland Britain. It runs for 12 miles and 4 furlongs through 8 locks from Swarkestone Junction (where it joins the Trent and Mersey Canal (Main Line - Derwent Mouth to Burton)) to Sandiacre Junction (where it joins the Grand Union Canal (Erewash Canal)).
