The Staffordshire and Worcestershire Canal (Stourport Basins: Broad Route) is a broad canal and is part of the Staffordshire and Worcestershire Canal (Stourport Basins). It runs for 1¼ furlongs through 2 locks from Severn - Stourport Broad Locks Entrance (where it joins the River Severn (main river - Stourport to Worcester)) to Stourport Upper Basin (where it joins the Staffordshire and Worcestershire Canal (Stourport Basins: Lichfield Basin) and the Staffordshire and Worcestershire Canal (Stourport Basins: Narrow Route)).

The maximum dimensions for a boat to be able to travel on the waterway are 80 feet long and 15 feet wide. The maximum headroom is not known. The maximum draught is not known.

It has a junction with the Staffordshire and Worcestershire Canal (Stourport Basins: Broad Locks to Narrow Locks at Stourport Lower Basin - between Broad Locks.
