Lee and Stort Navigation (River Stort - Main Line)

The Lee and Stort Navigation (River Stort - Main Line) is a small river and is part of the Lee and Stort Navigation (River Stort). It runs for 13 miles and 2½ furlongs through 15 locks from Rye House Junction (where it joins the Lee and Stort Navigation (River Lee)) to Causeway Bridge (Bishop's Stortford) (beyond which it is no longer navigable).

The maximum dimensions for a boat to be able to travel on the waterway are 88 feet long and 13 feet and 3 inches wide. The maximum headroom is 6 feet and 11 inches. The maximum draught is 4 feet and 1 inch.

It has a junction with the Lee and Stort Navigation (River Stort - Roydon Marina Branch) at Roydon Marina Entrance.
